How about a IČO processor for the
mainstream? Not necessarily for the server
market, but one for the home/SOHO markets. It would offload the I/O from the main CPU and allow for blistering performance. Add a higher speed UART, and an AMR socket, and you just may have the ability of XDSL without all the extra hardware. Steve Callison
