Hello Leire,

        Personally, I have only read from/written to files for simulation and debugging purposes. I couldn't think of any other situation to take advantage of this issue. Do you have any particular application in mind?

I would like to know more about reading from files and writing to files in
vhdl. I know how the description of the code is but, where is it used, in
testbenches? is it only for simulation?
