[oc] new core/pci board idea

Hi opencore.org,

Its great to see people putting so much time/effort into something
so great. Regardless of wether you take up my idea, keep up the
good work.

I was thinking it would be good to see a watchdog timer core and pci board
design built. I know of a couple of companies who use such custom built
hardware to support their own remote administration of linux machines,
the simple idea being that the card poles the kernel every-so-often to
see if its still alive. If not then it reboots the machine. Im not sure
how the card would reboot the machine. Can cards do reboots ? Sorry my
knowledge of hardware design is less than primitive. If they cant then
I guess you could always piggy back the machines reset switch onto the card,
or does that sound stupid and completely unknowledgable ?

Anyway, I cant really contribute to this project if anyone takes it up,
due, as I said, to my lack of knowledge of hardware design, but I hope
someone else does.

Again, keep up the good work, your efforts are appreciated and admired.
