Der Vdr bleibt beim bootlogo hängen. Wenn ich Esc drücke und die logs von dort ansehe steht dort: lightdm wurde gestartet, lightdm wurde beendet. 5 mal.

Dann kommt p-changer wurde gestartet. Weiter kommt nichts.

Wenn ich nun in das easywebportal gehe steht dort: vdr läuft.

Da ich mich auf keine konsole einschalten (strg+alt+f2) kann, über putty:

systemctl status lightdm.service



active:failed (result:exit-code1)

weiter drunter

lightdm.service: scheduled restart job, restart counter is at 5

stopped light display manager

lightdm.service: start request repeated too quickly.

lightdm.service: faild with result "exit-code"

ich habe nochmal nachgeschaut, unter easyVDR4Alpha lief die Intel HD Graphics 600 schon mal. Vermutlich hat es wirklich etwas mit dem neuen Treiber zu tun.

Folgender Vorschlag, wir versuchen nochmal den Ubuntu Treiber. Dazu öffne mal unter /etc/X11 die xorg.conf, hier folgende Einträge so wie hier drunter auskommentieren:

Ich habe hier noch meine steckbare SSD mit der ea4-Version.
Die funktioniert auch. Auf die sollte eigentlich die ea5 drauf. Sicherheitshalber habe ich aber die ea4 drauf gelassen. Könnte man da was vergleichen oder so?

Aktuell sieht es ja so aus wie wenn nicht einmal X startet. Da brauchst du an softhddevice nichts ändern.
Mit den Atom CPU gibt es leider immer wieder Probleme, die waren halt ursprünglich für Tablets und Handy's designed, allerdings waren sie auch dafür nicht konkurrenzfähig. Pentium wäre deutlich besser ...

Versuch mal Ubuntu Server zu installieren.
Wenn das läuft landest du auf der Kommando Zeile. Da gibst du dann folgendes ein und machst einen Reeboot:
sudo apt install xubuntu-desktop

Danach solltest du eine Desktop Umgebung haben, wenn das auch nicht läuft sieht es schlecht aus.

das ist kein Atom. Es ist ein Celeron J4105. Es ist ein ganz normaler Desktop-Prozessor. Der ist auch relativ schnell. Der Taktet bis 2,5 Ghz.
Lade mir die Server und teste.

Wenn X nicht gehen würde hätte ich ja gar keinen Desktop. Und es kommt ja der openbox-desktop. Oder hab ich da was falsch verstanden.
Lubuntu 1804 lief auch auf dem system, sowie linuxmint.
Melde mich nach Test wieder...

Zur Info,



ich glaube da gab es ein Missverständnis.

Ich habe NUR den Server installiert mit xubuntu-Desktop. Sonst nichts. Ich habe kein easyvdr installiert.

Die xorg.log und das lsmod poste ich.


Wie soll ich easyvdr installieren?



Als ich meine steckbare SSD mit Easyvdr 4 noch drinn hatte, bootete das System in unter 30 Sekunden. Wozu brauch ich soviel Leistung?
Wollte ein leises stromsparendes System. Deswegen auch das Passive netzteil und adapter.

Hi

Du hast ja schon mal Easyvdr installiert, du da war die Frage ob du im Monitor Layout ein Bild hastetet.

Thema Leistung, Video ist heutzutage komprimiert, dafür brauchst du entweder eine schnelle CPU oder eins Spezielle H/W die das unterstützt. Und da ist das Problem, die Intel CPU ist lahm, und die Grafik Hardware ist sogar super lahm.
Selbst eine 10 Jahre alte Nvidia (die kleinsten) ist dagegen eine Rakete. Wenn du z.B DVBT2 schauen wolltest, da brauchst du entweder einen schnellen I5 oder eine Nvidia 10X0. Anderes ist zu Lahm.

Ein 100% Bild wirst du bei der Hardware nur erreichen wenn du 100% gute Treiber hast (unwahrscheinlich, das ist glaube ich noch die Power VR HW die hat Intel nur dazugekauft, da gab es nie perfekte Treiber) oder wenn der Sender ohne Interleacing ausstrahlt. Aber jetzt muss zuerst mal gefunden werden warum überhaupt nichts geht.

Wenn du Strom Sparen willst musst du einen I5 T verwenden.
Mein Server ist ein I5 mit 1TB SSD, der läuft zwischen 4 und 6 Watt wenn er nur Streamen muss (der Rechner inkl Netzteil).

Genau, das ist eigentlich das Thema, alles andere eher Haarspalterei 

Ich bin der Meinung, das es was mit dem lib-av zu tun haben wird und hier in der Entwicklung zu weit vorn ist, sprich softhddevice an seine Grenzen kommt. Wie schon Wolfgang gesagt hat, nur ein neuer VDR mit neuen Frontend Plugin ginge, aber dann ist das setup-plugin Käse bzw Geschichte und wir stehen vor neuen Herausforderungen.

Ps: Hätte bei ihm zB die Monitor_Layout Video_Details nicht funktioniert, wäre er nicht bis Softhddevice gekommen. 
Es startet halt einfach das Frontend nicht bzw stürzt gleich wieder ab.

also ich habe bei der Easyvdr4 mit eurem install-skript installiert und ab der 5er nur mit euren Isos.
Gibt es für die 5er auch ein install-skript oder änder ich das 4er skript zu 5er um?

Weil Aaron schreibt das die easyinfos nicht gut sind, soll ich nochmals die iso 10 installieren und syslog posten?
Oder erstmal bei xubuntu-server bleiben?

Ja installiere mal nochmal Easyvdr, dann aufpassen ob die beim installieren ein Bild siehst Schwarz mit weißer Schrift, Hardware wird Getestet.
Und dann wählst du bei der Frage VDPAU, VAAPI, Software.

System ist installiert.
Der Hinweis mit der "Bitte warten. Hardware wird geprüft" kommt übrigens bei mir immer bei der Hardwareerkennung. Bestimmt 4 oder 5 mal.
Ich habe also Software angewählt und habe jetzt ein TV-Bild mit Ton.
Allerdings ist die CPU-Auslastung natürlich hoch, mit Rucklern.

Hi

Ist zwar mager was die Grafikkarte kann, aber MPEG2 sollte gehen.

Jetzt mal das Setup aufrufen und den Punkt Video-Details durchmachen, da dann VAAPI wählen und danach neu booten.

OK,



hab ich gemacht. Jetzt hängt das System beim booten. Wenn ich ESC drücke sehe ich das der lightdm nicht gestartet werden konnte.

Mit Putty auf VDR verbunden, kann ich sehen, das mit einem exit=code beendet wurde.
Das ganze 5 Mal. Starten funkioniert nicht.
Nochmals neu rebootet. Es kommt kein ICE-Bild. Statt dessen kommt der LightDM zum anmelden.

Wenn ich auf easyVDR user klicke und das Passwort eingebe kommt ein schwarzes Bild mit blinkenden Cursor und es passiert nichts mehr.

Beim dritten Reboot bleibt er wieder beim nicht-starten des lightdm hängen
