[openrisc] wrong file format for gdb

Hi,

I'm getting the following error while trying to debug a test that was
compiled in the or1ksim/testbench area, or1ksim-rtems ran fine on
these tests 
(actually I've gotten all 19 tests that said pass)

%or32-rtems-gdb testbench/dhry

format not
 recognized

--when i do a "file dhry"  i get the following:
dhry: ELF 32-bit MSB executable, version 1 (SYSV), statically linked,
not stripped

-what am i missing??
