huh, you are right -- if you run "make check" no uart tests are run.
However there is quite extensive testbench for UART, called acv_uart ;) -- you
will also need to download /vapi from CVS to run it.
Does anyone have some simple uart test? I have hello world, maybe it would be
nice if we can add it to "make check" ?
