Hey Joachim ! Hi Gang !
Unfortunately the multiplier is not available for the 1/x function.
I'm building a small integer math unit: add, sub, mul and div. Instead
of the actual div function I was thinking to implement a 1/x function
and have a div be two operations 1/x followed by multiply (with proper
alignments, etc.)
Sure I can use a small second multiplier as well. Unfortunately I
don't have the books you are referring to. I think I need to update
my library ! What are the best (most useful for hardware
implementations) math books that people are using ? - Opinion Poll
here !
Thanks !
