Hi Raj,

I think that maybe it would be good to start with something more simple than
AALx processing core. Since every ATM system need interface to PHY devices you
definately need ATM UTOPIA interface core. Once you have UTOPIA (version II
would be preferred) you can either do AALx in hardware or with a customized RISC
running AALx software.
