hi all

i am a third grade electrical engineering students in indonesia, and now
i'm studying about ASIC. My lecturer told me about the opencores.org and
he suggested us to propose a new research/ topic.

i would like to make one, but i don't have any idea what to develop. if
anyone of you can give me an advice, i will be very grateful.

i have another question. i don't know if this relates to cores or not
because i'm a newcomer in this. can anybody tell me how to get information
about Viterbi decoder ? a short explanation will be very helpful.
