[oc] need more info!

i know it's kinda wierd, but there are a lot of us who
are good at software programming (c, x86 asm) and
have some kind of knowledge on digital logic...

could you give pointers to information on the
stages that a chip goes through (design, synthesis, verification, etc.)
-- like how the design goes through each stage... etc.

if you could make this available on opencores.org, it'd be great!
