News contributors promote TLDP by communicating events and accomplishments to the public.
Generally, two or three hour per month is required to be a regular news contributor. One-time submissions and press releases are also encouraged.
A familiarity with current events at TLDP is required as are good written language skills. Experience writing press releases is a plus.
The final decision regarding publication rests with the TLDP news editors.
There is no formal training for this position.
Volunteers should contact the news editors and announce their intention to contribute.
