The 2.4.16xfs kernels contained in this dir are stock except that they contain
the SGI XFS patches and the NFS patches from http://www.fys.uio.no/~trondmy/.
They also only contain a minimal number of compiled-in modules/drivers.  I
built the kernel for use on a Dell Poweredge server and they work fine in that
respect but they may not, for example, include the driver to support your
workstation video card.  I would recommend recompiling the kernel yourself,
or at least taking a peak at the D0_CONFIG file in the tarball to make sure
that you know what you are getting.
