The problem that you outlined was that the setup program could not find
the sound.o file;
the rustic-script doesn't check for it being there; it used to be on the
boot floppy.
Load the WKS addon & try again.
Or put the sound.o module in /tmp/modules etc. and do it again....
Good luck. :-)
You should only need a dos driver if you have a PnP soundcard & can't get
it working under isapnp.
