As a first step I setup as a gateway.
So I have 2 Ethernet Cards and 3 Serial Ports.
So
Eth0 is 192.168.1.1
Eth1 is 192.168.10.1
and
ttyS0 is a PPP connection to a local machine
also ttyS2 so I can only use one of them :( at the same time.
and ttyS1 is the ppp connection to an isp.
So setup masquerading, and that should (!) work as a first step.
After that you can add some rules, like
everyone comming from 192.168.10.1 can ONLY do http on port 80 everything
else is blocked
or nothing from 192.168.10.1 will be go to 192.168.1.1.... or else
setup ipfwadm (i think :) here I have no running mu for testing...)
Ciao Jochen...
PS: BUT I've be glad if the gateway works FINE. Cos of the reported problem.
So I'll try to setup NOTHING only eth0 and ppp to isp and hope that will
work..
