You mean from a magazine CD?
If you boot muLinux and "setup cdrom", you might be able to mount the cdrom:

                # mount /cdrom

After this, you can build X11 floppy by hand:

                # cd /cdrom/linux/mulinux { change the dir! }
                # --- insert a diskette --
                # fdformat /dev/fd0H1722
                # cat X11.tgz > /dev/fd0H1722
                # setup -f X11
