Sony Computer Entertainment America is seeking a GNU Tool-Chain Software Engineer.

- Job Title: GNU Tool-Chain Software Engineer
- Job Location: Foster City, CA
- Description: Re-target, enhance, document, test,
release, obtain FSF acceptance, and maintain the GNU tool chain
targeted to Sony hardware platforms, including cross compiler, linker,
assembler, binary utilities, debugger, libraries, and IDE.
- Qualifications: Two-years recent experience
working on GNU tool chain internals and, in particular,
GCC. Proficient in both C and C++. Solid proficiency in basic code
optimization. Understanding of inter-procedural and profile-directed
transformations, SSA, and high-level loop transformations. Familiarity
with GNU assembler and linker and with the handling of shared
libraries. Previous experience implementing an IDE is desirable. Must
be comfortable working in a GNU/Linux environment, and experience working
in a Windows environment would be beneficial. Must be able to work
well in a team environment, as well as independently. A BS degree
(preferably in CS) is required, but an MS degree is preferred.
