PyTone - Music jukebox written in Python
'PyTone' is a music jukebox written in Python with
a curses-based GUI. It provides advanced features like crossfading and
multiple players, but its special emphasis is on ease of use, making
PyTone ideal for parties. It supports mp3 and Ogg Vorbis internally,
and mp123/mp321 and xmms with an external player. Users can search by
first letter or substring. Basic mixer functionality is included.
