YAO 10A50 KNOWLEDGE BASE Some problems were detected when running industry-standard test suites. They are described in this file. Because of resource constraints, it was not possible to analyze or repair them. As no support is currently committed for Project YAO software, please discuss problems and solutions with fellow users on comp.text.sgml. 1. Incorrect severity in some messages. Some messages contain an incorrect severity code. For example, in ]> the error message is YSP0092: (E) Implied end-tag b was not declared omissible. The "(E)" should have been "(I)". ========================================================================= 2. Errors in attribute values can cause RAST to crash. Here are three examples: 2.1 ]> In this case, the RAST is supposed to give an error message for the wrong attribute value. However, the RAST crashed instead. 2.2 ]> The RAST should give an error report on entities' value instead of crash. 2.3 ]> The RAST should give an error report on the attribute's value instead of crash. ========================================================================= 3. There are difficulties in processing some content models. For example: 3.1 ]> data proper subelement data The test case is correct, but the RAST gives the following error report: YSP0003: (I) In primary entity ("** No application info **), at line 3: YSP0001: (I) YSP0051: (T) inconsistent connector YSP0007: (I) Terminated Similar errors happen when the following content models are used: 3.2 3.3
