It's titled, "SGML Author: No Training Required." SGML Author version 1.0, is Microsoft's extension to Word 6.0 that allows you to create an SGML instance. "You create text using a Word for Windows style-sheet template that matches the structure for SGML's Document Type Definition (DTD), then export a fully compliant SGML file. Validation of the finished publication is carried out by SGML Author's parser, so exported files will work on remote SGML systems. You'll still need an SGML-trained administrator to set up the style sheet and make sure it works with the DTD that relates to the publication. Microsoft provides the two most common DTDs with the program and many others are available in the public domain." They also mention that SGML Author was easy to install and that it works well to convert equations and tables. System requirements for SGML Author are 6MB RAM, 14 MB HD space, and Windows 3.1, and Word 6.0. List price is $595.
